When I was around 10 years old, I wrote to my great grandmother a few times a year about my girlhood adventures on our family farm. She was in a nursing home ant the time and wrote me letters back about her childhood in the early 1900’s. She had the most beautiful handwriting. Recently my Nanna, passed way and she kept the bundle of letters that my great grandmother had received. It was a full circle moment!
The Whistling Kettle Post gives me the opportunity to pass along this opportunity to the next generation, for my daughter to connect with her grandparents.
